General Conditions

Starting from Brewer Creek Trailhead, the climber’s trail is melted out and in good shape up to 8500ft where continuous snow begins. Coverage above this elevation is good, and smooth snow surfaces can still be found. Several tent sites are melted out at the standard high camp between 10,200-10,400ft, and running water can be found. Along the Hotlum Glacier route, several snow bridges spanning deep crevasses are sagging and melting quickly. Additionally, the bergschrund below the Hotlum Headwall is open, making for an interesting exit off the glacier.
