Heading to BUNNY FLAT? Please read...

Shastafarians and visitors planning on heading up to Bunny Flat trailhead over the holidays, please take a moment to check out the following:

Bunny Flat will be busy this weekend. In order to ensure a positive trailhead experience for all users, we have established a few guidelines.

* All day use and non-motorized parking is above the bathrooms.

* All motorized use, overnight camping/campers/trailers and overflow day use parking is below the bathrooms and/or down the road.

* Please do not park in the middle of the road, anywhere. Trucks with trailers cannot turn around. If you cannot find parking along the edges, head down the road please.

* Keep the snowmobile access ramp clear, ie. no parking. There are signs marking this. Snowmobiles are not allow in Bunny Flat or above the Everett Memorial Hwy for 1.2 miles past the closed gate. Signs are posted. A map is also posted at the trailhead for legal riding area reference.

* Pick up your trash and dog poop. Dogs are allowed in the immediate vicinity of Bunny Flat as well as up the road toward the Old Ski Bowl. Dogs are NOT allowed in the Mt Shasta Wilderness or Sierra Club Property, any time of year.

* Be nice. Be respectful. Smile. We're all in this together!
