Mt Shasta Ranger Station & the MSAC during Govt Shutdown

DUE TO THE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN, THE MOUNT SHASTA RANGER STATION IS CLOSED. MAINTENANCE OF RECREATION FACILITIES WILL BE LIMITED.

The USDA Forest Service avalanche centers are continuing to operate despite the partial government shutdown because of the critical public safety information they provide.

The Mt Shasta Ranger Station is normally open Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm and CLOSED on weekends and holidays.

Annual passes ($30) are available at the station during business hours only, or at The 5th Season (open on weekends).

Three day passes ($25) are available at all open trailheads for self-issue, as well as out in front of the ranger station for self-issue also.
