The Hotlum Glacier is in good shape right now. That said, as is the objective problem every year: once we move into the warmer days of summer (NOW), snow melts and the snow bridges of crevasses become weak. The warm days as of late will create dangerous conditions on the glacier routes. Weak snow bridges will be a factor. Freezing levels have been upwards of 14,000 feet.
