General Conditions

Due to the warm weather recently and todays little to no wind, there was good corn skiing from 3/4 the way up Misery Hill, down through the heart. Although, once you start up Misery Hill there are rime nuggets on most of the surface that is crampon penetrable earlier and skiable around 1:30 today.  South, southeast, and southwest aspects were corning all the way up to 3/4 up misery.  Rime chunks were falling and hissing by  9:00 am. Be vigilant on the ascent. The heart was smooth corn the whole way down, with some patches of rougher still skiable, corned rime deposits.  Stay skiers left of Helen Lake on the descent.
