The majority of the Clear Creek route is snow free. Recent storms from the past couple of weeks has brought fresh snow to the upper mountain. Above 12,500 feet there is about 50% coverage. Once on the summit plateau climbers will find thin, but near total snow coverage. Climbers report almost no post-holing at this point of the climb.
