Snowpack Observations

Details

Adjacent avalanche weak layer above old melt freeze crust. Hard shovel shear tests were able to produce shear along 4F/1Fdensity change at 69cm down from surface but unlikely to be able to initiate and propagate an avalanche at that layer.
