Snowpack Observations

Details

We toured off the back side of Middle Peak towards Scott Lake and Gray Rocks Lake. It was a blue bird day and great snow for exploring beyond Castle Lake. We stayed on the ridge line from Middle Peak, then dropped in a north facing slope through an opening in the trees.  We skied down to Scott Lake and decided to transition back up to the ridge line where we dropped in. The new 2-3 inches of snow from the day before made it nice.
